Ideally situated on a secure complex with its own 18 hole golf course (part of the Jack Nicklaus trail), and ‘Village Centre’ which includes swimming pool (seasonal), gym, tennis, restaurant, bar and supermarket. The beautiful beaches of the Mar Menor lagoon are less than 10 minutes away by car, and Murcia (San Javier) Airport is only a 15 minute drive. The 'boulevard' on the resort boundary has further bars and restaurants.

The Villa is very well equipped with everything required for a relaxing holiday including air conditioning, central heating and satellite TV. There is a covered terrace at the rear and a large roof terrace ideal for sunbathing. The villa is privately owned.

Accommodation

Bedrooms	Bedroom 1 with 2 single beds, en-suite bathroom with bath,shower,wash basin and WC. Bedroom 2 with 2 single beds. Both rooms have air conditioning, radiators and ample wardrobe space. For the 5th person there is a folding bed suitable for an adult.
Bathrooms	En-suite bathroom in bedroom 1. Guest bathroom with shower, wash basin and WC adjacent to bedroom 2.
Kitchen	Oven and hob with extractor fan, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster, kettle and coffee maker.
Utility Room	Washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Living Room	This room has a light airy feel due to the high ceiling with extra high level windows. A 3 seater leather sofa and a 2 seater leather sofa, coffee table, dining table and chairs. Relax with the satellite TV, DVD or CD/Radio.
Terrace	West facing shady Terrace with table and chairs overlooking a small grass garden. Ideal for lunch in the shade and dinner in the evening.
Roof Terrace	Large L shaped roof terrace with 4 sun beds. Watch the sun rise in the morning and set in the evening from this terrace. Sunbathe all day.
Cleaning/towels/ linen	Bed linen and towels (including beach towels) provided. Only beach towels to be taken to the pool and beach.

Full air conditioning including both bedrooms, central heating, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detector, fire extinguisher and fire blanket.

Prices are for the villa per week in UK pounds. Please contact us for longer term rental rates. Part weeks also available. Changeover day is flexible. Price includes clean at end of stay.

Booking Notes

A deposit of 25% is required at time of booking. Balance payable 12 weeks before departure. A security deposit of £100 will be required at the same time. A key and an electronic security pass will be issued on arrival. The deposit will be refunded subject to the key and pass being returned and no damage occurring.

Airports

Murcia (San Javier) airport 15 mins by car. Alicante airport 50 mins by car. Both are served by several airlines including EasyJet, RyanAir, Jet2, British Midlands, Monarch, BA, Iberia. Both airports have car hire facilities which can be booked from the UK.

Coast/Beach

The Mar Menor ‘Little Sea’ is Europe’s largest salt-water lagoon, it consists of 170 sq km of sparkling shallow waters which are full of minerals renowned for their therapeutic properties (6 thermal spa baths). It is separated from the Mediterranean Sea by a narrow strip of land known as La Manga. Many watersports are available on the Mar Menor which is several degrees warmer than the Mediterranean, coupled with consistent sea breezes and an average 315 days of sunshine a year.

Nearby Towns

Torre Pacheco 1km. Los Alcazares (including beaches) 4km. Both of these are typical old Spanish towns, full of character, which have grown in recent years to provide many modern facilities. Los Alcazares in particular has a great atmosphere nestling on the shores of the Mar Menor, with many shops and numerous restaurants offering a wide selection of dishes. There is a very long palm-tree lined promenade dotted with Chiringitos (beach bars). The beaches are sandy, safe and ideal for children.

Surrounding Region

The Mar Menor and Murcia region has a wealth of history. Murcia City is approx 30 mins by car. Nearby Cartagena (approx 15 mins) with its port and Roman Amphitheatre. La Manga Strip (40 mins). Calblanque National Park (25 mins). The Sierra Espuuna at Totana/Mula (2 hours drive) a mountain area with wild boar, deer and golden eagles. The beautiful mountain top village of Guadalest (2 hours). For winter the Sierra Nevada skiing area is approx 3 hours away which will reduce when the new motorway opens.

Thanks for letting us stay in your lovely villa. Your place is very homely and was well equipped and had everything we needed - we loved the sun deck on top and the shady terrace for welcome relief from the sun. It was very easy to get there from the airport (even in the dark) and the location was ideal for exploring the area. The resort itself had a lovely feel to it.
